How can I make a booking? 

3 simple ways to book here

What products do you use? 

We only use premium imported products from USA, France and UK. We purchase our products from authorized and registered distributors, who follow a strict guideline to import products in their original packaging. Our facial skincare products are directly sent from Phytomer Hongkong distributor. 

How much in advance should I make a booking? 

It depends on the period. Just before holidays tend to be the big rush!

In general, to ensure that your preferred time is available we recommend booking a couple days in advance. Weekends tend to be busier, thus, we recommend to book as early as possible. If your time is flexible, then you may be able to book your service the day before or even on spot. 

Can I walk in for a service? 

We love it when a client walks in by surprise and we can accommodate him /her!

If a therapist is not available at that time, we are happy to some warm tea, and access to our wellness library to relax while waiting. If your time is limited, just send us a message on WeChat or call us, and we will let you know immediately when is the next available slot. 

Can I make a group booking? 

We are a boutique spa with a small team of passionate therapists, focused on quality of service rather than quantity. Thus, we do not take bookings beyond 4 guests at a time.

Can I rent the venue for an event or collaborate with Kocoon to use part of the space? 

For 8 years, Kocoon spa has co-hosted more than 100 events & workshops with practitioners from around the world. Our mission is to be a platform and build a community around health & wellness.

What makes the price of a treatment? 

1. Product cost: We buy our products for treatments, at the same price than you would buy it in retail stores overseas. The reason of our hight product cost is due the distributor having to quote high enough to compensate for the high importation barriers. This is why so few product lines are presented in China, the investment it requires is a huge hurdle to enter the market, and only the big ones can make it. 

2. Studio supplies: To keep our hygiene standards high, our treatments include all kinds of studio supplies from disposable sheets to cotton pads. For example: For each waxing customer, we open an individual pack of tools. Everything that is metal has been sterilized through several steps beforehand, and everything else is discarded after being used. This adds to the material cost of the treatment but also to the time of preparation. 

3.Staff cost: We believe in the importance of recovery time and nurturing a rich private life and thus, we practice what we preach! Our team enjoys holidays, 2 days off each week, an attractive compensation system and incentives. The days normally dont exceed 8 hours. We make sure to protect our therapists with enough resting time between spa treatments and no more than 3 massages in the same day. This reflects on the quality of the treatment: If a therapist is happy, peaceful and rested, she will be fully present in the treatment and you will also feel happy, peaceful and rested. 

 

I don't speak Chinese, will it be OK?

Our front desk staff is fluent in English and will always be on hand to assist you, and communicate with the therapists about your treatment preferences. Furthermore, the therapists are trained in basic English and will be able to understand simple requests. 

If you are coming with a driver, feel free to pass the phone to our front desk staff so we can communicate with the driver.
