Everything about this book makes you want to become healthy; the vivid colors, the photos, Gillian, her clinical stories and her own personal experience, recipes, tips, food list... It's all served to you on a golden tray! You just need to say yes, and run to your grocery store.

I tried once to become vegetarian, it only lasted a month. I just like to eat steaks, prime ribs, steak tartare...But when I read this book, from a young contemporary author, I became spontaneously vegetarian. It's been a year and half. Although this book is not about becoming vegetarian, I never bought meat again nor cooked meat. I still eat meat on some occasion, but reading Eating Animals made me become more conscious about how I eat and what I chose to eat. I think it's important for our generation to read it, don't wait the day you have baby to feed, to think about what you put in your plate!
